Tudo bom

Hi everyone. This is Kate's mom posting for Kate! Kate did not have the opportunity to post an update before leaving Columbus. She wanted me to let you all know she is on her way to Brazil this morning. She will arrive in Belem this evening where she will spend the night. Wednesday morning they head to Altamira where they will immediately get on their boat. They will travel up the Xingu River for the first 10 days. They will spend their time ministering to the indigenous people along the Amazon River. She is really excited about this opportunity. It is teaching her about faith and the power of prayer. She will be updating her blog when she returns from the river trip the end of January. Please keep her in your prayers as she ministers and that she will be granted a visa extension. Thank you for all your support!

Hi Kate! I bet you didn't know that I had a blog! Until a couple days ago, I didn't know I did either.

I am currently sitting in my kitchen, making coffee, listening to Damian Marley, attempting to study, and looking at all the SNOW outside. Needless to say, it all makes me miss you.

You're on the river right now (I hope?) so I know that you won't see this for a while, but I wanted to say hello and let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Haha, cheesy much? But it's true. :)
